- Nutrition for Success: Three meals per day are provided from July 9 to July 18, 2024, fueling participants for their impactful work.
- Travel Assistance: Travel logistics are streamlined with round-trip travel from New York to Burlington, Vermont, as well as convenient public transportation options.
Eligibility Criteria for MCW Global Young Leaders Fellowship
To be eligible for the MCW Global Young Leaders Fellowship, Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Young leaders must demonstrate a strong commitment to their community, a foundational requirement for the program.
- Fellows must identify and address issues in their community, particularly in the fields of education, health, or economic security.
- Age Criteria: Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 26 at the beginning of the program, starting on June 1, 2024.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English is essential, fostering effective communication.
- Fellows commit to conducting a Community Needs Assessment in June, attending the 10-day in-person program in July, and dedicating the following year to executing their community projects.
- Access to email and the internet is required to maintain consistent communication with the MCW Global Team and Young Leaders Fellowship alumni throughout the program.
- Fellows must follow the Young Leaders Fellowship graduation guidelines provided upon acceptance.
- Eligibility for appropriate visas and travel documentation is necessary for participation.
