More than 1,000 scholarships, bursaries, and discounts are given to newly enrolled students by Brunel University London each year. Numerous scholarships and bursaries offered by the institution are given out according to a variety of standards. Applicants must have the offer to enrol in one of the university courses in order to be eligible for a scholarship.

The Brunel University London Award offers a £5,000 fee reduction for self-funded international students enrolling in our postgraduate taught courses.

Eligibility Requirement

To be considered for the Award, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Hold an offer to study on a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2024 of the 2024/25 academic year.
  • Possess a minimum 2:1 or above, or an equivalent internationally recognized undergraduate qualification.
  • Be classified as an Overseas fee-paying student according to UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored).
  • Fulfill all conditions of their offer by the registration deadline at Brunel, including payment of the £5,000 tuition fee deposit.

How to Apply

  • There is no separate form to fill out for the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award.
  • Eligible candidates are automatically considered based on their admission application and academic qualifications.
  • However, it is imperative that applicants ensure they meet all the eligibility criteria and fulfil the necessary conditions by the specified deadline.
  • Upon receiving the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award. Successful applicants will be responsible for paying the remainder of their tuition fees. After the £5,000 fee reduction is deducted from their first-year fees. It’s important to note that the fee waiver is contingent upon full enrollment in a postgraduate program at Brunel University London.

Note: The award does not replace the initial £5,000 deposit required for course enrollment.
