Overview of the KDU Global Immersion Program
The KDU Global Immersion Program (KGIP) is organized and fully funded by Kyundong University Global, it is an annual extravaganza that aims to foster cross-cultural exchange and understanding.
Each year, KGIP brings together hundreds of international students and Korean counterparts to partake in a whirlwind of activities, courses, and excursions. This year, KGIP 2024 is offering two (2) sessions for participating international students:
Session I: Global Networking and Cultural Immersion
- Duration: July 15 to August 9, 2024 (4 weeks)
- In Session I, participants embark on a journey of cultural immersion, engaging in activities such as Korean language, history, cuisine, and pop culture. From scenic tours to hands-on experiences, this session offers a comprehensive glimpse into the essence of Korean life.
Session II: Global Student Mobility – Academic Semester
- Timeframe: Commences from August 26, 2024, to December 13, 2024 (16 weeks – Fall’24 Semester)
- For those seeking academic enrichment, Session II presents an opportunity to enroll in credit-yielding courses across various disciplines. With specializations in Business, Computer Science, Korean Studies, and Hospitality, students can tailor their academic experience to align with their career aspirations.

Eligibility Criteria for KDU Global Immersion Program

- Prospective Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution

- Meet D-2-8 (short-term study) visa requirements
