Quest Fellowship Program on Innovation & Entrepreneurship 2024 is an initiative crafted by AirDrop labs in collaboration with the Dunin-Deshpande Queen’s Innovation Centre (DDQIC) at Queen’s University, the target of the Fellowship is to empower young persons with a toolkit to translate ideas, and technologies, or passions into sustainable ventures.

The essence of the program goes beyond mere business creation; it’s about catalyzing ideas into impactful ventures that shape the future.

Program Structure

Fellows progress through three key stages: explore, ignite, and launch. Your advancement on the Fellowship depends entirely on your dedication, evidenced by completing assignments, attending lectures, engaging in quizzes, and participating in biweekly office hours.

You will demonstrate your commitment to entrepreneurial progress by achieving milestones and unlocking new opportunities and resources such as seed funding, tailored mentorship, and market access at each stage.

The program comes with numerous training materials, including bite-sized video lectures curated by Queen’s University’s esteemed faculty.

The curriculum is grounded in a framework developed at MIT and outlined in the book “Disciplined Entrepreneurship: 24 Steps to a Successful Startup” by Bill Aulet at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship.

Eligibility

  • If you are a recent student, graduate, and ecosystem amplifier (from all academic disciplines), you are welcome to apply. Whether you are already engaged in a business venture or starting anew, the program will offer you support.
  • As a participant, you must be committed to nurturing your entrepreneurial mindset and leveraging provided resources for enterprise development.
  • While the program is delivered virtually and can be completed at one’s own pace, you will need a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
  • Even though assignments and pitches are conducted in English; if you are a non-English speaker, you are encouraged to apply and form teams with English-proficient partners.
