This unique fellowship brings together women leaders from various sectors to enhance skills, foster collaboration, and exchange ideas. In its inaugural year, the program offers focused learning in two pillars: social entrepreneurship and political leadership.
Vital Voices Global Fellowship 2024
Fellows will participate in tailored learning sessions to develop sector-specific skills and engage with relevant changemakers. The fellowship aims to facilitate cross-issue collaboration and empower women leaders to address critical challenges impacting women and girls.

Program Expectations
As a participant in the program, fellows are expected to:
- Attend all virtual trainings from June 2024 through March 2025 and complete all assignments, as well as engage in any additional phone calls or interactions with other fellows, trainers, or program staff.
- Dedicate an average of 8 hours per month to the program, including participation in online sessions typically lasting 1-2 hours. These sessions will be held between 8 am – 11 am US EST, with 2-3 sessions scheduled per month.
- Attend the entire in-person gathering in Fall 2024 (specific dates to be confirmed).
- Submit surveys for up to 3 years after the conclusion of the program.
Costs:
- Vital Voices covers all program expenses, including travel, accommodation, and meals for the in-person gathering.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Global Fellowship, applicants must:
- Identify as women
- Be proficient in English and at least 18 years old
- Demonstrate commitment to Vital Voices’ core principles of leadership
- Show dedication to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals
- Commit to active participation in the fellowship
- Fulfill the criteria for their chosen pillar (see next pages)
