The previously discounted price of R99 has been lowered to R69, and in addition, the bank is providing R99 in eBucks for utilizing the service in specific circumstances, so making it free. Additionally, customers can use their eBucks awards to renew their licensing discs.

“For a limited time, the bank has further lowered the combined service and delivery fee to R69,” the statement stated. TechCentral has asked FNB to clarify the expiration date of the promotional period as it was not specified in the statement.

License Disc on the FNB App

It is obvious that the service is intended to get clients to enroll in more bank offerings, particularly its auto insurance program. It stated, “You receive R99 back in eBucks if you renew your license disc on the FNB app and get a no-obligation insurance quote.”

With no paperwork required, the service is given in partnership with the Road Traffic Management Corporation, as long as the bank client is the car’s registered owner.

In the previous 12 months, 107,000 license disc renewals were performed, according to FNB.
