The Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition

The Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition is widely recognized as a highly esteemed and generously funded event for education-based business plans. It draws innovative concepts from across the globe. Since 2010, the competition has granted over $2 million in cash prizes. Previous winners and finalists have gone on to secure over $200 million in funding.

Eligibility Criteria

  • They are open to receiving creative education initiatives aimed at addressing educational disparities worldwide, particularly those initiated by and catering to individuals from marginalized and historically underrepresented communities.
  • Applicants operating in diverse educational environments – spanning from early childhood education to corporate and adult training – are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Both nonprofit and for-profit ventures are welcome to submit their proposals.

  • EBPC applicants are required to outline an education-related challenge that their project aims to tackle, present their proposed solution, and explore opportunities for expanding the impact of their innovation to showcase its potential for promoting fairness in education and other contexts.
