Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition
Renowned as the most prestigious and generously funded education business plan competition, the Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition attracts innovative ideas from around the globe.
Since its inception in 2010, the competition has granted over $2 million in cash prizes, with winners and finalists securing more than $200 million in funding.

- Michael & Lori Milken Family Foundation Grand Prize: $40,000
- Cognativ Inc. Prize: $25,000
- Magnitude Digital Prize: $10,000
- Audience Choice Prize presented by Osage Venture Partners: $5,000
Eligibility
- The competition is open to education ventures worldwide that present innovative solutions to address educational inequity, with a particular emphasis on ventures founded by and serving individuals from marginalized and historically underrepresented communities.
- Applicants are encouraged to operate in a broad range of educational settings, spanning from early childhood through corporate and adult training.
- Both nonprofit and for-profit submissions are welcome.
Application requirements
Applicants are required to articulate the educational issue their venture addresses, present their innovative solution, and discuss scalability to showcase the equitable outcomes their proposed innovation can bring to the education field and other settings.
Application deadline
Applications must be submitted by February 19, 2024.
