This scholarship program presents a remarkable opportunity for eligible young females with a passion for accounting, to pursue their professional aspirations with the needed support.
Benefits of EmpowerHer Accounting Scholarship
The program will provide adequate financial and mentorship support to recipients (young females) who meet the age requirement of 18 and 23 years and have strong desires to enroll in a professional program in Accounting l with the ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria).
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Scholarship Award 2024, applicants must meet the under-listed criteria:
- Applicants must possess up to (5) credit passes in any subject including English Language, Mathematics & Financial Accounting in the West Africa School Certificate Examination, General Certificate of Education or SSCE, NECO equivalent of two sittings maximum, or NABTEB.
- Candidates are expected to have the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) of any Polytechnic recognized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
- Candidates must be passionate about pursuing a career in the field of accounting.
