Arizona State University (ASU) is providing a distinguished scholarship programme for African students in 2024 in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation. The scholarship programme will run for a duration of nine (9) months.

Established in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation, the scholarship program at ASU has a rich history of empowering talented individuals from Africa. Since its inception, it has provided opportunities for students to pursue higher education and contribute to the development of their communities.

Scholars will receive support and training in AI and business, in order to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to drive innovation and positive change.

Requirements for Eligibility

Prospective Candidates for Mastercard Foundation/Arizona State University Masters Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Age between 18 and 33 years at the time of application.

Application Process

There are two (2) ways to submit application for the Mastercard-Arizona State University Scholarship programme; Online or through a downloadable version of the application.

Selection Process

The selection process includes interviews conducted via video or phone call in the summer 2024.

Final decisions will be made by late May 2024, and successful applicants will join the program in August 2024.
