The University of Islam Sultan Agung (UINSA) in Surabaya, Indonesia, is thrilled to announce the call for applications for its UINSA International Scholarships 2024. The scholarship is open to international students applying for a program for the 2024 academic year. Overview of UINSA International Scholarship
University of Islam Sultan Agung offers two types of fully funded scholarship awards that cover the tuition fee, and accommodation cost, and also provide monthly stipends for successfully selected applicants. These scholarships are the Regular Scholarship and the Achievement Scholarship.
- The Regular Scholarship is a partial scholarship award offered to international students accepted into UINSA’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- The Achievement Scholarship on the other hand is designed for international students with demonstrated academic or extracurricular achievements, such as national or international competition awards.
Note: Both the Regular and Achievement Scholarships, aim to support talented students from around the globe in their educational journey at UINSA.
Eligibility Criteria for UINSA International Scholarship
To be considered for the UINSA International Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be an international student.
- Be applying to pursue an eligible Bachelor, Master, or PhD degree at the UINSA.
- Fulfill the entry requirements for the program being applied for
- Meet the requirements set for English Language at the university
Benefits of the UINSA International Scholarship
- No Registration Fee: The first-time registration fee is covered
- Indonesian Language Programme (BIPA) Training: Guarantees that learners can easily blend in with the neighborhood.
- Student housing: The award consists of a year’s stay in the university residence halls, with the option to continue studying there for an additional year under specific circumstances.
- Cultural Immersion Programmes: Educational opportunities are available for students to learn about customs and cultural practices unique to Indonesia.
- Enhancement Programmes: The scholarship offers certification and multidisciplinary training.
- Tuition Fee Subsidy: Students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programmes pay significantly less in tuition fees each semester; Rp400,000 ($25), Rp1,500,000 ($93), and Rp3,000,000 ($185) respectively.
Applying for the UINSA International Scholarship
Qualified Candidates should kindly follow the steps below to apply for the UINSA International Scholarship 2024:
- Go to the scholarship application webpage at https://uinsa.ac.id/international/admission
- Download and complete the application.
- Applicants will need to accept the Letter of Acceptance Notification via email from UINSA’s International Office.
- Apply for a study permit through the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs.
