The UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office (ITPO) Italy introduced the Global Call in 2020, establishing it as a flagship annual event recognizing and honoring companies with groundbreaking solutions to global challenges.
The event kick-started in Rome, Italy, and has since transcended boundaries, with subsequent editions held in Bonn, Shanghai, and Beijing. Garnering over 2000 applications from 108 countries, the Global Call has cultivated a vibrant global network of innovators dedicated to leveraging technology and collaboration for positive change.
Global Call 2024 Hosted by ITPO Korea
The Global Call 2024, with the theme “FOODTECH Innovation and ISID: Nourishing the Future,” will be held by UNIDO ITPO Korea in 2024. In view of the urgent problems confronting the world food system and UNIDO’s strategic partnership with the foodtech sector, this year’s Call seeks to discover businesses that use cutting-edge technologies to solve important problems like hunger and uneven distribution.
Global Call 2024 is seen by UNIDO ITPO Korea, the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion (ITP) Network, and other pertinent UNIDO divisions as a ground-breaking chance to propel major innovations across the food industry value chain.
