Are you a native of Ikot Abasi and Mkpat Enin LGAs in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, currently enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution? If yes, you’re cordially invited to apply for the 2024 Mkpat Abasi Group Special Education Grant Award Program. Students who are selected will receive a one-time Education Grant as part of this programme.
The sons and daughters of Ikot Abasi and Mkpat Enin Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria who now reside in the United States founded the non-profit, 501c3 charitable, and non-political MKPAT-ABASI GROUP IN AMERICA with the aim of unifying their people wherever they may be and providing a forum for meetings and discussions on issues that affects them all.
This organization exists solely for philanthropic, instructional, and cultural reasons. To join the membership; anyone who agrees with the goals and missions of this organization and pays the annual dues and other costs is eligible to become a member.
Overview of Mkpat Abasi Group Special Education Grant
This Special Education Grant Award is awarded on a first come, first served basis and has a limited supply. The awarding authority of the Mkpat Abasi Houston Chapter Special Education Grants Award shall receive all completed application forms from qualified applicants from any of the two LGAs by June 30th, 2024.
Eligibility Requirements for Mkpat Abasi Education Grant Award
To be considered for Mkpat Abasi Education Grant Award, applicants must:
- Be indigenes of Ikot Abasi LGA or Mkpat Enin LGA of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria
- Have enrolled in higher institutions during the 2023/24 academic year.
- Register in the school and in the semester in which the award is given.
- Qualify to the group of needy or poor students.
- Show proof (transcript) of having written a minimum of one-semester examination and passed at a 3.0 GPA.
