Details About A-STAR Graduate Scholarship
Would you like to apply for this opportunity to study in Singapore? The A-STAR Graduate Scholarship will provide funding for four (4) years of your PhD or EngD studies at autonomous universities in Singapore. You will be exposed to user-inspired and industry-focused R&D projects as an AGS scholar.
During your studies, you will also have the chance to participate in an abroad attachment for a maximum of 12 months. AGS scholars can apply for the A*STAR International Fellowship (AIF) to pursue post-doctoral study in prestigious foreign universities or research organizations after completing their PhD or EngD studies.
Requirements for A-STAR Graduate Scholarship
To be eligible for the A-STAR Graduate Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- The Singapore A-STAR Graduate Scholarship is available for Singaporeans and other nationals.
- Candidates who are non-Singaporeans are expected to have met the requirements and be seeking admission to an autonomous university’s PhD or EngD programme.
- They must also have earned, or be on track to earn, at least a second upper-class honours degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Candidates who are in their last semester of undergraduate studies are welcome to apply; however, the scholarship will only be given to those who meet A*STAR’s requirements and receive at least a 2nd Upper-Class Honours or similar results.
