The KIISI Trust Foundation (KTF) Ogoni Scholarship Scheme Phase 6 application portal is now open. Nigerian students at tertiary institutions who meet the requirements are invited to apply before the specified deadline.

Overview KTF Ogoni Scholarship Scheme 2024

The Kiisi Trust Foundation (KTF) provides financial aid to Ogoni students enrolled in Nigerian tertiary institutions. The Ogoni students are those who are from Eleme, Gokana, Tai, and Gokana Local Government Areas in Rivers State.

Prospective Candidates should be in their 200 Level/NDII OR Final Year at any of the tertiary institutions recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Nigeria. Up to 75 applications total will be chosen, of which 50 will be from universities and 25 from polytechnics, monotechnics, or education colleges.

Eligibility Requirements for KTF Ogoni Scholarship Scheme 2024

To be eligible for the KTF Ogoni Scholarship Scheme 2024:

  • The applicant must be enrolled in one of the authorized tertiary institutions as an Ogoni student.
  • Applicants must be in the 2023–2024 session, which is their 200 Level/ND II OR Final Year.
  • A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 5-point scale or 2.4 on a 4-point scale is required of applicants.
  • The applicant’s account needs to be BVN compliant and unrestricted in terms of maximum amount.
  • Recipients of any other scholarship, such as the Oil and Gas Scholarship, are not required to apply.
  • Applicants must possess a valid admission letter into an approved university, monotechnic, college of education, or polytechnic.
  • Application is limited to Ogoni students enrolled in approved tertiary institutions recognized by the National University Council (Colleges of Education, Monotecnics, Polytechnics, and Universities).
  • Part-time learners will not be taken into account.

Applying for the KTF Ogoni Scholarship is simple, Interested and qualified students should follow the steps below:

  • Go to the application page of the KTF Ogoni Scholarship at https://www.ormscholars.com.ng/registers.php
  • Click on the Sign Up button to proceed
  • Activate your account using the link sent to your email inbox or spam folder
  • Fill in the registered username, which is your Email Address and password to log in.
  • Provide accurate personal, educational, and bank information with the appropriate scanned documents. It’s important to ensure that the name used in applications matches those on the documents provided.
  • Photos must be uploaded in a white-background pass-port photograph. Please view all documents after uploading, to avoid errors.
  • Avoid multiple applications as they attract disqualification.
