The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is accepting applications from suitably qualified  Candidates for the RSTMH Early Career Grants Program 2024. Through this programme, RSTMH provides grants annually to early-career Individuals, from anywhere in the world, to conduct their first research into tropical medicine or global health.

The grant programme offered by the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH), was established over 40 years ago and has attained significant growth. RSTMH has given out over 800 awards across 66 countries since 2017. The 2024 call for applications closes on April 22, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements for RSTMH Early Career Grants Program

  • The RSTMH Early Career Grants are intended for people who can plan and carry out their first research project and who have never before won a research grant of at least £5,000 in their own name.
  • Researchers from all over the world are welcome to apply for the RSTMH Early Career Grants Program.
  • Grant project duration: The project should begin within three months after getting financing and take up to a year to complete.
  • Topic and scope: Research projects can address any area of tropical medicine and global health, including laboratory, translation, implementation, and policy studies.
  • There are at least 230 grants available for the 2024 edition.
