The Hult Prize is designed to challenge young people to solve the world’s most pressing issues through social entrepreneurship. Participants are allowed to determine the pressing problem they intend to address or solve as we as the business plan.
Hult Prize Challenge – Overview
Former US President Bill Clinton recently introduced the 2024 Hult Prize Challenge at their Global Finals event in Paris. The theme for the 2024 edition of the challenge is UNLIMITED, marking a revolutionary start to the competition, which is celebrating Its 15th year!
This edition of the Hult Prize challenge welcomes persons with any social entrepreneurship idea. However, the idea must have the potential to change the world and be in alignment with a minimum of one of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) of the United Nations (UN).

- Participants are Challenged to address or solve some of the world’s pressing issues via social entrepreneurship
- Additionally, one team that emerged as the winner received funding of up to USD 1 Million to bring their ideas into reality.
Eligibility Criteria for Hult Prize Hult Prize Challenge 2024
- The Hult Prize Foundation, Inc. is in charge of running the competition. Teams of three or more full- or part-time university undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in degree programs are eligible to participate.
- Teams can have a maximum of five members.
- Participants must meet the minimum age of 18 to be considered.
- Participants must be able to present a valid document attesting to their student status. Where forbidden by law, the Competition is null and void.
- Participants in the Competition are not permitted to be employees of the Hult Prize Foundation, Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, or suppliers.
- Participants who are in charge of local activities are not allowed to participate in them.
- Submissions for the Hult Prize Challenge must be in English, including all official competition phases.
Note: Please note that there is no entry fee required
Selection Process
- Participants must be enrolled at the same university as each team, as each team will represent their university. Teams may choose to include a single participant from an alternative university, though.
- The official team registration must include a list of all Participants. Any modifications to a Team must be agreed upon in writing, by all members, and at the sole discretion of the Hult Prize Foundation. One Team registration is allowed per participant at a time.
- The participant is responsible for covering all expenses associated with taking part in the Hult Prize Competition or any other program run by the Hult Prize Foundation, including but not limited to travel, lodging, and food.
