Purpose Of The Job
The Technology Application Officer is responsible for monitoring of research and development trials by providing supervision, training, and technical support to technology application center attendants.
The Job (Technology Application Officer)
- As directed by the technology application manager, oversee, carry out, and keep an eye on technologically innovative experiments.
- Oversee and keep an eye on the research and development trials by offering technology application center employees guidance, instruction, and technical support.
- Follow the TAC vaccination schedule while administering and supervising the fish and bird vaccinations.
- On the days specified in the set procedure, keep an eye on and oversee the weighing and feeding of the experimental fish or birds.
- Gather and examine data by the trial’s stated protocol.
- Closely work with the technology application manager to organize training for the tech application center staff.
- Provide support to the technology application manager in managing the first draft report after each trial.
- Carry out other functions as instructed by the Management.
The Individual Must:
- Posses an excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Be focused on delivering results through teams.
Qualification
- Candidates must have obtained a B.sc/HND in Animal Science or related field.
- Candidates who are registered Animal Scientists will have an added advantage.
Experience
- Applicants at least one (1) year of experience in a related field.
- Be experienced in the following industry (poultry, fish, and Feed Industry)
