The MSIF-ECTRIMS McDonald Fellowship and the MSIF-ARSEP McDonald Fellowship provide tailored support and resources, ensuring that each recipient receives comprehensive assistance throughout their fellowship journey.
Benefits
- The McDonald Fellowship comprises a two-year grant, with each year generously funded at around £30,000 GBP.
- This funding covers travel expenses, and living costs, and includes an additional contribution of £2,000 GBP per year to the host institution.
- Recipients are also encouraged to utilize part of the second-year grant to attend the annual congress of ECTRIMS, further enhancing their professional development and networking opportunities.

- Reach out to your host (the project supervisor in a lab or clinic) and work out a project proposal together.
- The application form in its entirety must be completed by the applicant.
- Following submission, the Host is requested to use the same application form to send a supporting statement.
- Before the specified deadline, the applicant must request that the three referees email their letters of recommendation

30 June, 2024. Successful candidates will be notified in October, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter in their MS research journey.
