Bringing together a diverse cohort of early-career scholars, practitioners, activists, and politicians, the Program offers a unique blend of theory, methodology, and policy applications.
Meanwhile, the International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE), is an open and diverse community that strives to enhance the well-being of all through gender-aware and inclusive economic inquiry. By providing a platform for critical exchanges and welcoming diverse voices, IAFFE pushes the boundaries of economic theory.
IAFFE Feminist Economics School – Details
The IAFFE is thrilled to invite eligible Candidates for its 2nd edition of the Feminist Economics School, which selects up to 20 to 30 early career scholars, including activists, and practitioners engaged in research in the area of feminist economics concerns.
However, it will run for a duration of one and a half days, immersing participants in workshops that bridge the gap between theory and real-world impact.
The curriculum covers essential aspects of feminist economics, fostering reflection on personal practices and experiences.
Benefits
Scholars of the IAFFE Feminist Economics School are not required to pay any fee for participation
Additionally, travel grants are available to cover travel, accommodation, and visa application costs.
The inclusivity extends to meals and local transportation during the school. These benefits have been designed to create an environment conducive to learning.
Eligibility Criteria
- IAFFE actively encourages early-career scholars, activists, and policymakers interested in feminist economics to apply.
- The program is focused on applicants from the Middle East, North African region, and underrepresented groups in Europe
- To be eligible, applicants are expected to be comfortable working in English.
