Hanken School of Economics Master’s Program Premium Scholarship 2024-25 (Up to 8,000 EUR Per Year)

The Hanken School of Economics Master’s Program Premium Scholarship 2024-25 application form is out. The Hanken School of Economics, a renowned university, internationally accredited with more than a hundred (100) years of experience in education and research in economics and business administration, is offering up to two scholarship opportunities to eligible students from developing countries to join the Hanken two-year Master’s degree program 2023-24 in Finland.

Only degree students currently enrolled at the Global Business School Network (GBSN) member schools from developing countries as of 3 January 2023, are eligible for this award, including alumni with a university degree from a school located in the countries listed below as of 13 January 2023.

Regardless of your chosen field of study, a Master’s degree from Hanken provides you the opportunity to specialize in your field of interest. The program covers the following areas:

  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Management
  • Logistics, or
  • IP Law.

Benefits of GBSN Master

Hanken School of Economics will award two (2) premium scholarships to its 2-year Master’s Program students applying from GBSN Member Schools located in developing countries. The premium scholarship covers the following:

  • Recipients will receive Full tuition fee coverage for two years of the program (Equivalent to €15000 per year)
  • Up to 8,000 EUR per year to cover the student’s living expenses in Finland (for the duration of the program)

Requirements

To be considered for the Premium Scholarship award, Candidates must meet the requirements below:

  • Prospective Candidates must be a student or alum of a GBSN member school by January 3, 2024.
  • Hold a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant field. Have a minimum of 30 ECTS in subjects relevant to the programme specialization
  • A TOEFL score ≥ 92 or IELTS ≥ 6.5 or PTE Academic ≥ 62 or CPE ≥ C)
  • Admission test requirement: Candidates must have GMAT: of at least 550 or GRE: Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning; at least 150, Analytical Writing; at least 3,5
  • Letter of motivation
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Selection Criteria for GBSN Master

The MSc programme coordinator evaluates the application enclosures according to the following standards:

  • Academic performance and skills (100%) are determined by the scope, content and accomplishments of prior research that are pertinent to the program that is being pursued. The evaluation takes the CV into account.
  • Candidates are therefore evaluated according to their scope, content, and performance in all studies (degree programs, other studies, etc.) that are pertinent to the desired program rather than their GPA in the degree for which they are applying.
