Requirements for Alex Otti Foundation Scholarship Program
To be eligible for the AOF scholarship, applicants must:
- Be second-year students enrolled in government-owned tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
- Candidates must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 and demonstrate a genuine need for financial assistance.
- Additional Requirements: In addition to academic qualifications, applicants are required to submit a statement of results, a letter of recognition from a community/religious leader, and a 1200-word essay addressing specific prompts.
- Applicants are required to submit a letter of recognition by their community/religious group leader or electricity bill for the last three months preceding the month of the interview, as evidence that they currently reside in Abia State.
- A valid means of identification is also required
- Prospective Candidates who recently secured direct entry admission into 2nd-year can apply.
Exclusions
- Siblings of current AOF scholars are ineligible for the scholarship until their sibling’s tenure concludes. However, siblings of AOF graduates remain eligible for consideration.
