The Pernod Ricard Scholarship 2024 application form is out. Social gatherings and moments of celebration are integral to fostering healthy social connections. However, the company also acknowledges the potential risks associated with such gatherings, including isolation, anti-social behaviour, and excessive alcohol consumption. To address these challenges and promote responsible socializing, Pernod Ricard has launched the One Young World | Pernod Ricard Scholarship.
Pernod Ricard Scholarship Overview
The scholarship aims to identify and connect ten young leaders committed to building positive social spaces and addressing harmful drinking and its broader impacts on their communities. Recipients will receive full funding to participate in the One Young World Summit 2024, scheduled to take place in Montreal, Canada, from September 18th to 21st.
As members of Pernod Ricard’s delegation, scholars will have the opportunity to shape interventions at the event and receive expert mentorship to advance their initiatives. Additionally, they will contribute to a collective project aimed at informing Pernod Ricard’s strategies for the future of socializing and efforts to reduce harmful drinking.
Who Should Apply for Pernod Ricard Scholarship?
- The Pernod Ricard Scholarship is open to young leaders who share Pernod Ricard’s commitment to promoting positive social occasions and addressing harmful drinking.
- Ideal candidates will be actively engaged in initiatives such as prevention and education campaigns, projects to reduce social harm, efforts to improve safety in social environments, and research on drinking habits and social trends.
- Applicants must also be of legal drinking age in their respective countries
- Must be willing to participate in a collective post-summit project alongside other scholarship recipients.

Collective Project
All scholarship recipients will participate in a collective project aimed at providing concrete recommendations to Pernod Ricard. The project’s focus areas include
- Social connections within communities
- Cultural and societal influences
- The role of prevention in social interactions, and
- The influence of Generation Z.
This time commitment will include: two to three pre-summit meetings in September (between April and September), an in-person meeting in Montreal concurrent with the summit, and one meeting every three months for the year that follows the summit.
