Netflix reveals the date for Witcher season 3 and streaming is set to kick off in June. The season as you should know will be split into two parts, with the batches of episodes in June and July.
Netflix Witcher Season 3
Finally, the third season of The Witcher has a premiere date. Streaming platform Netflix just announced that the fantasy series will be returning in June although not all of its episodes will be available at once.
The third season of The Witcher similar to how Stranger Things 4 was split into two will be released in two separate batches. Episodes 1-5 will begin streaming on June 29, while 6-8 on the other hand will be available on July 27th. The third season prior to this was pegged for a summer 2023 timeframe. And even at that, we got a first glance at how the season will be looking via a short one-minute teaser trailer.
The Witcher Spinoffs and Projects
The second season of the show made its debut at the end of 2021 and ever since then, Netflix has attempted to expand the Witcher universe via spinoffs such as 2022’s Blood Origin which starred Michelle Yeoh and was set 1,000 years before the time of Geralt. A family-friendly animated series also is in the works.
This Is the Last Henry Cavill Witcher
The Witcher season 3 is particularly famous due to the fact that it will be the last with Henry Cavill playing the role of Geralt: for seasons in the future as Liam Hemsworth will be taking over the role. Cavill however has shifted to a Warhammer project currently in the works at Amazon.
