After it was teased in the early parts of this year, OnePlus’ first tablet, the OnePlus Pad, will be available for preorder beginning on Friday and it will cost $479, the company on Tuesday stated.

People can also acquire a $149 magnetic keyboard, a $99 stylus as well as a $39 folio case to go alongside the Android tablet. The tablet as you should know has an all-metal design and it comes only in green, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Users should expect the tablet to start shipping on May 8.

Andrew Lanxon of CNET, who tried out the tablet at the Mobile World Congress trade show in the early parts of this year, said that it has a good feel to it. The tablet has an 11.6-inch display and a 7:5 aspect ratio in terms of reading books, perusing documents as well as web browsing. Lanxon however described the 9,510mAh battery as “capacious,” and OnePlus states that it allows for 14 hours of video playback and up to a month when on standby.
