Swedish Defence University, a prestigious institution established in 1997, is now accepting applications for the UHR Scholarship 2024-25.
Eligible to apply for this and many other scholarships at the Swedish Defence University are students who have applied to pursue a Master’s taught program. Also, students who must pay tuition are eligible for these awards. However, students from EU nations are not eligible.
UHR Scholarship Details
The Swedish Council for Higher Education commonly referred to as UHR, is responsible for overseeing the UHR Scholarship award. The Swedish Defence University manages the admissions process and the application and selection of admitted students. Please note that UHR Scholarship cannot be used for other study-related expenses, it can only be used as a tuition fee waiver.
International students who demonstrate academic excellence and who want to pursue their Masters’s Degree program, are encouraged to apply for Swedish Scholarships. Newly admitted students are not left out, as they can also apply. The scholarship duration is 2 Years.
UHR Scholarship Benefits:
The Swedish Defence University UHR Scholarship 2024–25 for International Students covers only the cost of the student’s tuition; other benefits, such as furnished accommodation, are not covered by this grant.

Eligibility Requirement for UHR Scholarship 2024-25
Candidates must meet the requirements below to be eligible for the award:
- The Swedish Defence University’s UHR Scholarship is open to all International Applicants except Students from EU/EEA countries and Switzerland.
- Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree certificate to be considered
- English Proficiency Language Proof is required.
- Only Students who have been admitted to pursue a taught program at the University can apply for the scholarship.
