UNESCO is inviting suitably qualified not-for-profit organizations to submit proposals until 28 August 2023, For the Global Media Defence Fund which is aimed at strengthening legal protection for journalists and also to promote media freedom via investigative journalism.
The Global Media Defence Fund (GMDF) 4th Call for Partnerships, will allocate over USD $1 million in financial grants to support the implementation or expansion of local, regional, and international projects.
These projects are in line with international human rights standards and are designed to enhance media freedom and strengthen the protection of legal journalists.
