The TEF Women Entrepreneurship For Africa (WE4A) Program is now accepting applications. Supported by the European Union (EU), the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), along with the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) and the German Development Agency GIZ (E4D program), this initiative aims to empower developing communities in Sub-Saharan Africa, including women, youth, and the informal sector.

The program, in partnership with SAFEEM (Swiss Association for Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets), focuses on enhancing the business capacity of women-led enterprises.

It aims to help them attract follow-on funding from private sector investors by providing additional grant funding of up to €50,000 and a three-month growth program to 15 enterprises with the highest growth potential.

The program divides 100 TEF Alumna beneficiaries into eight clusters based on their growth stage and sector to provide a more personalized experience. Each cluster is led by an Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) who offers mentorship and support.
