Key Features of the Fellowship
The fellowship offers a mix of in-person training and in-service support from senior experts at the World Bank and University College London.
Over 6 months, fellows will engage in intensive training, including a 2-week session in Washington, D.C., covering the Public Administration Forum and Government Analytics course.
The program presents an opportunity for fellows to develop a Government Analytics project under the guidance of experienced mentors.
This hands-on experience allows participants to apply their newly acquired skills to real-world scenarios, driving tangible results within their respective government organizations.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Government Analytics Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Ability to travel to Washington DC between May 27 to June 7.
- Nomination by their organizations (Up to 2 fellows per organization).
- Employment in central government organizations or agencies.
- Mid-level managers or senior analyst positions with the authority to develop a government analytics project.
- Demonstration of prior tertiary-level coursework on statistics or related quantitative methods.
- Proficiency in English.

Application Procedure
Applications for the Government Analytics Fellowship Program are open until March 31, 2024.
Applicants are required to submit the following documents in English:
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV) (3 pages maximum), highlighting relevant experience and qualifications.
- A summary of how participants intend to apply the knowledge gained to enhance their organization’s operations through a government analytics project (150 words max)
- A letter of endorsement from the organization, nominating the Candidate for the fellowship and confirming the Candidate’s position.
