Falling Walls Female Science Talents Intensive Track 2023/2024 application form is out. The third round of the Female Science Talents Intensive Track is now open for applications! In the year 2024, they are seeking to recruit 20 highly skilled and exceptional women in science from various disciplines to participate in their intensive one-year program.

Falling Walls Female Science Talents Intensive Track

This female talent program aims to promote and support women in the field of science. Through the intensive track, they offer close mentorship and guidance to these 20 exceptionally talented women from diverse scientific backgrounds, to help them achieve a significant breakthrough in their careers within just one year.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to attend two prestigious conferences held in Berlin, where they will have the chance to meet and network with accomplished women leaders and role models from academia, politics, and business. Benefits Of The Intensive Track

The Intensive Track program offers selected candidates a wide range of opportunities:

  • Attend two prestigious events in Berlin, the International Spring Gathering and International Fall Gathering, both part of the Falling Walls Science Summit 2024. Travel scholarships will be provided for both events.
  • Engage in a series of skill-enhancement workshops, both online and in-person, covering various topics such as leadership, business building, and grant applications.
  • Connect with other talented young individuals from around the world, fostering peer exchange and learning across disciplines.
  • Enjoy unique networking opportunities with role models and influential women leaders in academia, politics, business, and the media. Official partners such as Bayer, The Elsevier Foundation, Foundation Medicine, and Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft will also be part of this network.
  • Participate in the Falling Walls community, including Falling Walls Venture, Falling Walls Engage, and Falling Walls Lab, expanding your connections and collaborations.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Intensive Track program is open to PhD students in the final stage of their research, as well as postdocs and individuals with comparable qualifications from both university and non-university research institutions worldwide. We are seeking exceptional individuals who are conducting inspiring research in their respective fields.

Specifically, they are interested in finding:

  • A person who serves as an inspiration embraces new challenges, and motivates those around them.
  • A visionary who can identify and navigate changes and disruptions, and is willing to explore uncharted territory. They employ innovative approaches and are not afraid to take risks to achieve their goals.
  • A leader who can steer scientific, economic, or social innovation in uncertain and complex environments.
