Entries for the 2024 ETH4D Teaching Stay Grant are now being accepted! According to ETH4D, universities must make sure that advancements in technology benefit people all around the world. To find fresh approaches to enhancing the lives of the impoverished, they seek to fuse technology innovation with a deep comprehension of human behavior and surroundings.
Thus, ETH4D encourages research that brings together the expertise of engineering, the natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities and fosters cooperation between scientific research, civil society, industry and policy.
ETH4D Teaching Stay Grant 2024 – Overview
ETH4D provides funding for ETH scientists or ETH emeriti to lecture at partner universities in low- and lower-middle-income nations. Among the activities include lectures, courses, or seminars; and going to collaborative meetings.
Researchers from every discipline within the ETH scope are welcome to apply. The ETH4D Teaching Stay Grant seeks to support ETH scientists’ (including senior scientists’ and doctoral candidates’) instructional endeavours at partner universities in nations on the DownloadOECD DAC List, or ETH professors emeriti.

Eligibility Requirements
The ETH4D Teaching Stay Grant 2024, is open to researchers from all disciplines of the ETH domain.
Required Documents:
- An explanation of the teaching stay budget, including a thorough breakdown of the money sought and all sources of support, as well as the applicants’ and partners’ (in-kind or in-cash)
- Share of the expenses is provided in the Downloadbudget template
- The applicant’s CV, no more than two pages
- The hosting partner university’s letter of support or invitation
