Interested candidates can now apply to the fully funded East Asina Seas Congress 2024 Youth Forum. The East Asian Seas Congress 2024 Youth Forum is a gathering intended for young leaders from the East Asian Seas region.
The primary goals are to foster a comprehensive understanding of the marine environment, highlight the effects of climate change, exchange insights on marine conservation and the sustainable utilization of ocean resources, and encourage exploration of innovative approaches to ocean and climate challenges, with a special emphasis on the active involvement of youth in generating solutions.

Eligibility for the Forum
To qualify for participation, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be a citizen of East Asian Seas countries, including Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Lao PDR, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Timor-Leste, and Viet Nam.
- You must be between 21 and 35 years old.
- You must possess a minimum of one year of exposure or experience in marine science, marine conservation, or related fields.
- You must demonstrate leadership skills or potential, with the ability to network and influence others in the fields of marine conservation and related areas.
- Be willing to utilize social media channels for disseminating and promoting key messages on marine conservation.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- You also need to have a passport with a validity of at least six (6) months.
- You must be able to travel to the Republic of Korea within one week, or have clearance to do so.
