Xbox Game Pass Launched for March 2022

The New Xbox Game Pass Launched for March 2022. Microsoft has revealed a new batch of games that would be arriving on the Xbox Game Pass. Over the first two weeks of March 2022, the Xbox game pass would be getting some addition of seven new titles – a fairly small number compared to some much larger updates that we happen to have seen previously.

Of course, quality is quite important than quantity and depending on who you are asking, March could actually turn out to be a big month for the Xbox Game pass even though there was a small number of new additions to the game pass.

Surprisingly, the game that would be leading the charge of the first half of March is “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.” This is a relatively recent release that came from a major publisher, as Square Enix passes this month. Still, as a single-player, Story-driven game, it has sold a ton of copies, and placing it on the Xbox Game pass is one great way to make a bit of extra cash.

Xbox Game Pass First Half of March 2022 Additions

Just as outlined on Xbox Wire, the new additions is kicked off yesterday with “Far: changing Tides” on cloud, console, and PC, and it would be joined by a cloud version of “Microsoft Flight Simulator.” Today the third of march, “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XII” (Console and PC) will be joining the service.

Once “lightning Returns” has gone live, the entire “Final Fantasy XIII” trilogy would remain available through Xbox Game Pass. So, if unfortunately, you missed out on your chance to play these games when they were launched at first, you now have the chance to play through the entire trilogy right from the beginning to end thanks to the Xbox Game Pass.

One big day of the Game pass is March 10, this is because all the other games in the lineup for march would be added to the Xbox game pass. They include:

  • Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Kentucky Route Zero (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Lawn Mowing Simulator (Xbox One), and
  • Young Souls (cloud, console, and PC).

You should note that “Far: changing tides” and Young Souls” are both days one addition to the Game pass, and this means that they would be joining the game pass the same day as the release. To add, “kawn Mowing Simulator” is already available on platforms that include PC and Xbox Series X|S through Xbox Game Pass, so on March 10, we’ll just see the Xbox one version go live to round out all of the platforms that are available.

Feature of New Xbox Games Pass

Alongside the normal announcement of the upcoming game, Microsoft has also decided to reveal some new features for the Xbox game pass PC app. With this interesting new update, users get to select the folder that their games would install to and even access the file for those games in some scenarios.

The Xbox Game Pass meant for the PC app is receiving the ability to repair and move games. And finally, more games are now receiving mod support, so slowly but surely, we would be seeing Microsoft build out the feature meant for Game Pass on PC – something that its players have wanted for quite some time now.

Games Leaving the Game Pass

As expected, games would always be leaving the Pass every month, and this month is not excluded. On Tuesday, March 15 – two weeks from today – look for “nier: Automata,” “phogs!,” “torchlight III,” and “the surge 2” to all leave the platform. All of the games at the moment are available via the cloud, console, and PC versions of the game pass. And they would be disappearing one by one, so hurry up and quickly finish the titles that you are playing at the moment before it exits the game pass.
