The program will accommodate approximately fifteen bachelor/undergraduate students with backgrounds in biological and medical studies.

No prior research experience is required for application. The program runs from July 3rd to August 28, 2024, and offers not only valuable research opportunities but also social activities such as alpine hikes, barbecues, and visits to Swiss cities.

Benefits of the UNIL SUR Program 2024

  • Free Housing: Furnished apartments for participants, with single or double rooms. Kitchen and bathroom facilities will be shared among participants.
  • Living Expenses: CHF 1,500 to cover additional living costs.
  • Travel Allowance: Up to CHF 500 for European travel and CHF 1,200 for overseas travel.
  • Visa Assistance: Support for participants requiring a visa to travel to Switzerland (Note: Visa costs are not covered).
  • Health Coverage: Participants must have health and accident coverage from their home country.
