The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is calling for applications for the 2024 NAHCON Volunteer Opportunities. NAHCON welcomes applications from Individuals with expertise in the medical field and a desire to serve humanity.
The 2024 NAHCON Volunteer Team is an opportunity for dedicated medical professionals to contribute to the well-being of pilgrims during the Hajj season. This year, NAHCON is seeking Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses, and Environment Health Officers (EHO) to join the team.
NAHCON Volunteer Opportunities 2024 – Details
The application portal for the 2024 NAHCON Volunteer Opportunities will be open from February 12th, 2024, starting at midnight, and will close on February 26th, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Interested applicants should be prepared to commit to 28 days of service and remain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for up to 45 days before returning to Nigeria.
Requirements for Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the NAHCON Volunteer Opportunities, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age Criteria: Doctors and Pharmacists must be between 28 to 60 years old, while Nurses and other professionals should be between 22 to 60 years old.
- Active Service: Applicants must be in active service at the time of application.
- Previous Service: Applicants must not have served in the last 3 years Hajj seasons (2019, 2022, & 2023).
- Commitment: Applicants must be willing to commit to 28 days of service and remain in Saudi Arabia for up to 45 days.
- Good Conduct: Successful applicants are expected to maintain good conduct and adhere to the code of ethics of their respective professions.
- The National medical team operation for the 2024 edition will be based on volunteerism in line with the International Standard as agreed by the NAHCON Management
- Details provided by Candidates determine their qualification for the next level of screening/examination. Any omission or falsification of information may lead to the rejection of the application.
- The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) does not require or charge a fee directly or through an agent for this application.
- Applications submitted must be attached with an attestation by a guarantor with a credible personality. This may include a career civil servant not below the rank of GL 15, a Traditional ruler, or a Local Government Chairman.

Selection Process
The selection process for the NAHCON Volunteer Opportunities will be based on several criteria, including but not limited to:
