How Twitter Celebrates Mario Day

How Twitter Celebrates Mario Day is one interesting thing that Super Mario fans wouldn’t want to miss out on. If you are not aware of Mario Day, there is no major significance to this day beyond the date – “March 10” and it can slightly be truncated slightly to read Mar10, and Nintendo saw that as a good marketing opportunity – but that would not stop “Mario” fans from celebrating this day.

How Twitter Celebrates Mario Day

Well for a start, Twitter users are celebrating Mario Day with tributes to the most famous game character around, so, even though at the moment, there is no specific anniversary that we are celebrating, the social media crowd is still showing up. And that includes at least one famous face that would be instantly recognizable to “Mario” Fans from around the world.

It is not just Twitter celebrating Mario Day though, as owners of the switch should be aware that Nintendo has rolled out several Mario Day deals. Nintendo games are not often discounted, so if you have been waiting to pick up some of the company’s first-party switch titles, this would actually be the time for you to do it.

Mario Day is a Hot Topic on Twitter

As it turns out, Mario Day is one important day to a lot of people who are owners of the Twitter account. Not only is the day itself trending on Twitter, with a lot of people talking about their best “Mario” Games and memories, but even fan accounts for other characters are getting in on the action.

The upcoming Mario movie is a trending topic on Twitter at the moment, with many seemingly expecting Nintendo to drop the first trailer for the movie today. As anything is possible, we are guessing that Nintendo might be saving that for a much later date, considering the movie’s release date is scheduled for December 21, 2022.

One person that would be taking part in Mario Day Action Charles Martinet, is best recognized as the voice of Mario to most gamers. Martinet has been voicing the character since the early 1990s, alongside a bevy of other “Mario” characters like Luigi, Waluigi, and Wario. Basically, if they are Italian plumbers or his derivatives, Martinet likely voices them. It seems like Martinet is celebrating Mario Day in style, as the image he shared seems to have been taken at a tropical resort. If only we could celebrate Mario Day in such leisure and luxury.
