Manually trawling through the “settings and Privacy” section of the app to find a particular setting can be quite stressful and frustrating, but this new option says better.

Much like Microsoft has done with Windows 11, Apple did with their macOS, Google did with chrome and other developers have done on their own software, Twitter has finally decided on a search option for settings.

The major thing here is that it has taken quite some time for such a simple and obvious idea to arrive on the app, but finally, the day has arrived. This counters an issue that a lot of Twitter users have been facing for quite some time. Knowing that they want to make changes to a setting, but don’t know where to start searching for it.

Search for the Settings you Want to Alter

With the latest update available, when you head over to the “privacy and settings” section of the Twitter app, you would find a search bar at the top screen. Type a keyword right into this “search settings” bar, and would be offered a list of matching settings that access just by tapping.

Reception of the tweet has remained positive, and this is hardly surprising given just how much it can contribute to speeding up the process of customizing, personalizing, and securing a Twitter account.

The functionality of the new search is rolling out to all versions of the Twitter app, so check for updates but get set to wait a little while if you do not see the option just yet.
