The 2024 Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Scholarship Programme is currently accepting applications from Candidates from the eligible region. One of the FES’s founding principles has been the development of youthful talent. Talented youngsters from low-income families had very little chance of attending college or participating in research projects when Friedrich Ebert was elected as the first president of the Weimar Republic.
The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung was established in 1925, and its inaugural scholarships were given to young people from working-class backgrounds who demonstrated exceptional talent and were actively involved in the fledgling Weimar Republic democracy.
