Taking place at the TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco on October 28, this open innovation program provides startups like yours with a platform to unveil groundbreaking solutions and unlock new opportunities.
Visa Everywhere Initiative
Originating in the U.S. in 2015, the program swiftly evolved into a global initiative, attracting nearly 15,000 startup applications to date, with many now collaborating with Visa or its partners. The 2024 global competition promises to be more thrilling than ever, offering selected finalists a chance to present their ideas to Visa executives, potential clients, and investors. Each region will have one fintech startup chosen to compete in the global finals at the prestigious TechCrunch Disrupt event.
Benefits
Two cash prizes will be given out during the global finals on October 28th at the TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco.
- Grand Prize Winner: $100,000 USD
- Favorite of the Audience: $20,000 USD (The grand prize winner is also qualified to receive the Audience Favorite award)
Visa will provide accommodations for the global finalists at the TechCrunch Disrupt Pavilion, allowing them to showcase their companies together in the Expo Hall. This opportunity comes with several advantages, including:
- All global finalists will have access to a dedicated demo table or kiosk in the Expo Hall for the entire duration of the event.
- A tabletop sign measuring 11” x 14” featuring the sponsor’s logo
- Founder pass
- Global finalists will be granted complimentary access to the partner wifi network and power supply.
- Entry to the Startup Exhibitor Lounge
- Access to the TechCrunch Disrupt press list will be provided.
- Inclusion in the Disrupt mobile app

- The application deadline is May 13, 2024. The selection of one Global-Finalist from this region will take place around August 19, 2024.

- Applications should be submitted by June 3, 2024. Similarly, one Global-Finalist from this region will be determined around August 19, 2024.
Europe,
- The deadline for applications is July 1, 2024, and one Global-Finalist from this region will be determined around August 19, 2024.
Asia Pacific region
- Applications must be submitted by July 12, 2024. The selection of one Global-Finalist from this region will occur around September 15, 2024.
