Applications for the 2024 Google Europe Students with Disabilities Scholarship are now being accepted by students who identify as neurodivergent or disabled, as well as those who have mental health issues or long-term medical concerns. By removing obstacles from students’ path into computing and technology, Google’s education and scholarship programmes hope to encourage and assist students in becoming future leaders in these industries.
Google is partnering with EmployAbility, a renowned nonprofit organisation that offers support to students with disabilities as they pursue education and potential professions, to support university students with disabilities in achieving their academic objectives in the field of computer science.
Benefits of Google Europe Students with Disabilities Scholarship
Recipients of Google Europe Students with Disabilities Scholarship will receive a 7,000 EUR award (or local equivalent) for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible to apply for Google Europe Students with Disabilities Scholarship 2024-25, applicants must meet the criteria below:
- Students must be seen to have or consider themselves to have, a visible or invisible disability
- Candidates must currently be enrolled in an eligible undergraduate program at an accredited university for the 2023-2024 academic calendar
- The student must have received an offer to pursue a Bachelor’s program at an accredited university in EMEA for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Applicant’s study program should be in either of the following areas: computer science, computer engineering, informatics, or related technical field
- Candidates must have a strong academic record and;
- Have also demonstrated a passion for computer science and technology

Application Deadline:
The deadline to apply for Google Europe Students with Disabilities Scholarship 2024-25, is Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Terms and conditions
- Students who meet the requirements are eligible to apply for the Google Europe Students with Disabilities Scholarship. Applications from students with impairments who are interested in computer science are highly encouraged.
- The scholarship Fund must be used to pay for the student’s basic university tuition, fees, books, supplies, and equipment.
- Recipients of scholarships must enrol full-time in classes during the 2024–2025 academic year.
- After the winners are chosen, enrollment will be checked, and the student will receive all scholarship funds directly for use towards tuition and other educational costs.
- If a scholar no longer meets the eligibility standards, Google will withhold the award from them, and if they continue to fall short of the requirements, Google will revoke the honour.
- Google will send details on how to claim the reward to the chosen beneficiaries. Recipients will not be eligible for the award if these steps are not completed by the deadline.
- Depending on the circumstances, recipients may postpone their award for up to a year from the date of the initial scheduled payment, as decided by Google.
- Scholarships from Google are not available to Google employees. Candidates for this scholarship may not be (1) citizens of embargoed nations, (2) normally residing in embargoed nations, or (3) otherwise barred by applicable export controls and sanctions programmes.
