The University of Glasgow African Partners Awards aims to support high-achieving students from across Africa to pursue Masters level studies and contribute positively to their communities. This scholarship offers up to 5 full tuition fee waivers for international students from Africa starting a 1-year postgraduate taught Master’s program in any discipline for the academic session 2023/24.

The University of Glasgow is seeking outstanding students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree program, to further develop their knowledge and skills, and as mentioned earlier, to positively contribute to their community in the future.  The African Partners Awards is exclusively for students, alumni, and staff of the University partners across Africa (African Partners List 2024).

Full tuition fee waiver.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Demonstrate academic excellence equivalent to a UK 1st Class Honors.
  • Have international fee status and be domiciled in Africa.
  • Provide a clear career and/or development plan supported by a Masters level study.
  • Show evidence of meeting UKVI maintenance/living costs by 30th June 2024 (if offered a scholarship).
  • Be a student, alumni, or staff member at one of the University partners in Africa.
