The Youth Leadership Workshop on Global Citizenship Education (GCED), organized by the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU), offers a unique opportunity for youth leaders to enhance their skills, expand their networks, and drive positive change in their communities and beyond.

The Workshop Experience

The 10th Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED will take place online from April 29 to May 10, 2024, under the theme “Youth Voices for Transforming Education through GCED.”

Over one week, 50 young leaders from around the world will come together for an intensive and interactive program led by international experts in the field of education and youth development.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to participate in the workshop, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age Range: Born between 1996 and 2004.
  • Nationality: Prospective Candidates must be citizens of ODA recipient countries, UNESCO member states, or the Republic of Korea.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of active involvement in youth activities.
  • Education: Completion of the e-learning course titled “GCED for Youth” on the GCED Online Campus, with the course certificate attached to the application.
  • Language Proficiency: Applicants are required to have proficiency in English (Spoken & Written)
