The application for Tech4dev Digital for All Challenge For Nigerians 2024 is open, apply now. The Digital for All Challenge is the largest digital skills competition in Africa, aimed at promoting self-improvement and fostering the acquisition and application of digital skills by providing competitive incentives. This free program is designed to enhance digital literacy in Nigeria and stimulate interest in gaining digital skills and certifications through online platforms.
Now in its second year, the challenge will consist of two main phases: the training phase and the competition phase. Following the training phase, participants will undergo an assessment to qualify for the competition phase, which comprises three stages: state, regional, and national (grand finale).
Prizes
Young Learners Category:
- The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of 10 million naira!
- The first runner up will receive a cash consolation prize of 7.5 million naira.
- The second runner up will receive a cash consolation prize of 5 million naira.
Youth Category
Basic
- The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of 10 million naira.
- The first runner up will receive a cash consolation prize of 7.5 million naira.
- The second runner up will receive a cash consolation prize of 5 million naira.
Intermediate
- The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of 15 million naira.
- The first runner up will receive a cash consolation prize of 12.5 million naira.
- The second runner up will receive a cash consolation prize of 10 million naira.
Civil Servants Category
- The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of 10 million naira.
- The first runner up will receive a cash consolation prize of 7.5 million naira.
- The second runner up will receive a cash consolation prize of 5 million naira.
Eligibility Criteria
Young Learners Category
- Participants must be aged between 8 and 18 years.
- Participants must be students in either primary or secondary school.
- Participants must complete the training in their school and pass the basic digital literacy assessment to qualify for the competition.
- The participant’s school and teacher must be registered on the platform.
Note: Only employed teachers at a primary or secondary school are allowed to register on behalf of their school and students.
Youth Category
- Age must be 19 and 45
- Participants must complete training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic or advanced digital skilling program.
Civil Servants Category
- Participants must be civil servants.
- Participants must complete training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic digital skilling program.
