This new version comes with some goodies to the mix that includes the THX Spatial Audio Support and an upgraded 7.1 surround sound experience. And of course, this speaker system is expected to roll with an abundance of RGB lighting.

All thanks to the THX Spatial Audio support using a 7.1 surround sound experience, Razer claims that the speaker is offering top-tier sound accuracy with positional audio. Well to be plain, players get to feel the sound coming from enemy movements or gunshots using a true sense of direction.

Apple happens to be a seller of a similar promise with spatial audio on the Airpods max headphones that rely mainly on head tracking to offer a great experience when listening. Razer notes that THX Spatial Audio can be enabled on windows PCs through their Razer Synapse configuration tool. The Razer Synapse system requires that users have an official razer account for sign-in, and THX Spatial Audio is not available with said software.

You Need to Buy this if you are a PC Gamer

Razers’ new Soundbar also happens to boast of low-latency Bluetooth connectivity and quick switching between devices paired. Wireless connectivity is handled via Bluetooth v5.2 with a latency promise of 60 ms. Also, there is support for Razer’s proprietary chroma system also, and this enables users to play with lighting zones, patterns, and custom game effects. The Leviathan V2 features detachable rubber feet in other to ensure that the beats from its down-firing subwoofer do not get muffled courtesy of the surface that it is placed on.

Unfortunately, the speaker does not come with a 3.5mm analog connector, an optical audio input, or an HDMI port. Simply put, you can connect it to gaming consoles like the PlayStation 5.

Razer Leviathan V2 Specs and Price

And if you have plans to hook it up to your TV just to have fun with some bass concert video or probably just play music, well the speaker is open for you. This audio setup was designed for a PC gaming rig. Fitting in full-range drivers tweeters, and a passive radiator, the Leviathan V2 tips the scales at 6.61 Ibs. It is worth you noting here that the subwoofer had been fitted right into a separate blocky package and it links through its very own wire straight to the soundbar.

The audio frequency response range falls between 45Hz and 20kHz, which is a fairly standard affair. Playback buttons have been placed at the top of the main unit, while the USB and power outlets have been positioned right on the rear. The Leviathan V2 would be made available on Amazon or on the razer store priced at $249.99.
