These International Collaboration Grants encourage the formation of new partnerships, offering funding to support the creation and development of creative projects with international peers. Additionally, they assist individual artists in exploring unique methods of collaboration.

Grants

  • Grants ranging from £25,000 to £75,000 are currently available for application.

Eligibility Criteria

  • All applications must demonstrate authentic international collaboration and provide clear benefits to participating UK artists, organizations, and their international partners. Projects can explore any theme, and applicants are requested to outline their approach to promoting diversity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability in their project delivery.
  • Each project should involve at least one organization based in the UK and one organization based in one of the following countries as part of the partnership: Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Mainland China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Montenegro, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Serbia, Senegal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.

How To Apply For British Council International Collaboration Grants 2024

  • All applications must be completed and submitted using the  online application form by 30 April 2024, 23.59 (GMT).
  • Each application should be submitted by a single organization in collaboration with all partners involved. Only one partner can apply to a collaborative project.
  • To submit your application form, you will need to create a free Submittable account or log in using Google or Facebook credentials. The form has collaboration features, allowing you to invite your project partner to collaborate on the form.
  • If needed, you can save a draft of your work and return it to complete the form at a later time. You can continue to edit your draft until the submission date.
  • Once your application is submitted, you cannot access it to make further edits. The Submittable platform is optimized for use with Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported, so please ensure you are using a compatible browser.
  • It is recommended to submit your application in advance of the deadline. Whenever possible minimize any potential technical issues with last-minute submission.
