AmplifyChange offers four types of grants, starting with the smallest Opportunity Grants that support local civil society organizations, and extending to the largest Partnership Grants that assist established groups in enhancing civil society movements and building the capacity of smaller civil society organizations (CSOs).
Funding is accessible during specific application periods, and we offer support to CSOs based in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The four Grant types can be categorized into:
- Opportunity Grants
- Strengthening Grants
- Network Grants
- Partnership Grants
Benefits
- Opportunity Grants: Funding for either 18 or 24 months with a maximum application amount of GBP 75,000 is available. Applicants are encouraged to seek the maximum amount that will benefit their organization and project while maintaining a realistic approach.
- Strengthening Grants: These grants have a duration of 24 to 36 months, with applications welcome for up to GBP 200,000. Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply for the maximum amount that will benefit their organization and project while keeping expectations realistic.
- Network Grants: These grants span two to three years, with applications ranging from GBP 300,000 to GBP 750,000.
- Partnership Grants: Grants for two to three years with applications ranging from GBP 500,000 to GBP 1,500,000 are available.
Who Can Apply For AmplifyChange Grants 2024?
AmplifyChange welcomes proposals from civil society organizations that:
- Are based in and carrying out a project in one of the eligible countries specified for each grant type.
- Are engaged in advocacy efforts aimed at bringing about change in one of AmplifyChange’s outcome areas.
- Are concentrating on one or more of the organization’s sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) priority areas.
AmplifyChange does not consider proposals from:
- International non-governmental organizations (INGOs) headquartered in high-income countries (HICs).
- UN agencies.
- Individual activists or researchers.
- Organizations seeking to provide services unless they also support sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocacy and movement building.
- They acknowledge the diverse nature of civil society and the multitude of organizations, individuals, and coalitions it includes.
How To Apply For AmplifyChange Grants 2024
- To register, please visit the AmplifyChange Grants Portal and click on the Register button. You will then be prompted to answer a series of questions in order to complete the registration process.
- If you already have an account in the Grants Portal, there is no need to register again for each new funding round. Simply log in using your existing username (the email used during registration) and password to access open funding rounds.
- Organizations have the option to submit multiple applications as the lead organization, but this does not improve the likelihood of being selected for funding. It is also possible for an organization that has been awarded a grant as the lead organization to serve as an implementing partner in another grant application led by a different organization.
