Applications are open for the AmplifyChange Grants 2024. AmplifyChange provides a variety of grants, starting from the Opportunity Grants designed to assist local civil society organizations, to the Partnership Grants that aim to empower established groups, strengthen civil society movements, and enhance the capabilities of smaller civil society organizations (CSOs).

Funding opportunities are available within specific application windows, prioritizing support for CSOs based in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Grant Types

  • Opportunity Grant: Grants supporting SRHR advocacy at the local level, offering up to GBP 75,000 for 1.5 – 2 years.
  • Strengthening Grant: Support for medium-sized groups aiming to advocate for SRHR beyond their local communities. Grants of up to GBP 200,000 are available for 2-3 years.
  • Network Grant: Significant support for networks and coalitions encouraging movement building. Grants range from GBP 300,000 to GBP 750,000, spanning 2-3 years.
  • Partnership Grant: Substantial support for established groups working to build and strengthen civil society movements, fostering the capacity of smaller CSOs. Grants can range from GBP 500,000 to GBP 1,500,000, covering a 2-3-year period.

Eligibility

AmplifyChange welcomes proposals from CSOs that:

  • Are located in and implementing a project in one of the eligible countries listed under each grant type.
  • Focus on advocacy aiming to achieve change in AmplifyChange’s outcome areas.
  • Concentrate on one or more of AmplifyChange’s SRHR priority areas.

AmplifyChange does not accept proposals from:

  • International non-governmental organizations (INGOs) based in high-income countries (HICs).
  • UN agencies.
  • Individual activists or researchers.
  • Organizations seeking to deliver services unless contributing to SRHR advocacy and movement building.

Application

  • Organizations may submit multiple applications as lead organizations, but this does not increase the chances of selection for funding.
  • An organization awarded a grant as a lead organization can also be an implementing partner in another grant application led by a different organization.
