Hogwarts Legacy State of Play offers Gameplay’s First Look. According to last week’s state of Play (early March 2022) focused mainly on upcoming games that are coming from Sony’s Japanese Publishing partners, we’re getting another one this week.
This Time Around, the focus will be a bit different as the next state of Play would entirely focus on one game: “Hogwarts Legacy.” It’s been quite some time since we last heard from the upcoming “Harry Potter” games, and fans of the franchise would definitely want to catch this particular presentation event.
The Hogwarts Legacy State of Play offers Gameplay’s First Look
This state of Play is expected to promise the very first look at “Hogwarts Legacy” gameplay. The media that surrounds this game has gotten quite limited so far. As a matter of fact, outside of the announcement trailer that was published back in September of 2020, we are yet to hear much of anything from “Hogwarts Legacy” at the moment. Well, The streaming event set to occur this week is looking to change that, and since “Hogwarts Legacy” is going to be a multiplatform title, Xbox and PC gamers – not just those who own a PS4 or PS5 will not want to miss out.
Hogwarts Legacy State of Play
Just as announced by the PlayStation Blog today, the “Hogwarts Legacy” State of Play would be premiering on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET. Chandler wood, who serves as the community manager for WB Games Avalanche, the Studio is working on “Hogwarts Legacy,” stated that the entire presentation is expected to last for at least 20 minutes so expected to be a rather short and breezy affair.
Woods also stated that around 14 minutes of the presentation, the gameplay of “Hogwarts Legacy,” would be shown, captured on PS5. Going from a Cinematic Announcement trailer to a presentation that features 14 minutes of gameplay is quite a big leap, but then again, we have waited for a year and a half for the presentation of this game to come.
Just as most State of Play Presentations, this one is expected to be broadcasted on both Twitch and YouTube. Originally Slated to release at some point in 2021, the game was delayed to this year, but no official release date beyond a broad “2022” window has been revealed. Perhaps, that is one of the topics that would be covered during Thursday’s State of Play?
