The scholarship is an annual Program that offers hundreds of young talented students from around the globe an opportunity to join the European Forum Alpbach (EFA) and participate in the event.
The program is graced with Young professionals, students, and change-makers who attend different scientific and artistic seminars, conferences, and cultural activities in the village of Alpbach.

Recipients of the EFA Scholarship Program 2023, will receive the following benefits:
- Successfully Selected Candidate’s Participation fee will be covered including the accommodation costs for the full duration of the EFA 2023 Program.
- All EFA scholarship recipients will receive a daily allowance of EUR 20/day.

Eligibility Criteria for the EFA Scholarship Program
- The eligible age for the EFA Scholarship Program between 18 and 30 years. Therefore, applicants must meet the required age to be considered
- The age requirement for African applicants is 35
- Applications from all countries and disciplines are welcome
- Interested Artists and non-graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Fluency in the English language is a major skill required (minimum level B2 of Common European Framework of Reference).
- Candidates will need to provide supporting documents to prove their English proficiency.
- Ideal Candidates must be willing and ready to attend the EFA Program for 12 days.

- Proof of English B2 level.
- Evidence showing that you studied or currently studying in an English-speaking country
- Evidence that your degree is taught entirely in English
- Current diploma or transcript of records or proof of employment.
