Hurray! Applications are now open for danceWEB Scholarship Programme 2023. The programme offers young professional dancers and choreographers mostly from European and non-European countries the unique opportunity to participate in an intense multinational further training programme.
The danceWEB Scholarship Programme is an annual residency program that runs for 5 weeks (July – August) in Vienna within the frame of ImPulsTanz festival. danceWEB focuses on the exchange of ideas and knowledge, not limited by national borders, on concentrated further training, and on meeting with internationally renowned artists gathering in Vienna at ImPulsTanz.

About Life Long Burning (LLB)
The establishment of Life Long Burning (LLB) is aimed towards a sustainable Eco-System for Contemporary Dance in Europe. It is an annual cooperation project supported by the EU Creative Europe Program for 4 years from July 1, 2018 – November 30, 2022, and implemented by twelve organizations.
The LLB danceWEB program comprises dance houses, festivals, choreographic centers, and networks as well as production houses: the 6 activities of the project offer sustainable support for emerging and mid-career contemporary dance artists, with the aim to stimulate exchange with other disciplines and expand its sphere of activity and audience through a strong feedback attitude.

The danceWEB Scholarship worth is valued approximately at EUR 6,600 (depending on the individual choice of research projects, workshops, and performances per scholarship holder).
The national/regional funding bodies of your home country/country of residence are expected to cover about EUR 2,250

Eligibility Criteria for LLB danceWEB Scholarship Programme Qualification
- danceWEB Scholarship Programme is open to dancers and choreographers with decidedly professional ambitions from European, Eastern European and non-European countries;
- The preferred eligible age is between 22 and 30 years
- Applicants must have good knowledge of English as the working language of the programme is the English language.
- Only individual artists and not duos/groups can apply
